Recovery Resources and Experiences

I had a stroke in January 2022 and then a seizure in January 2023. I moved across countries. I rebuilt my routines piece by piece. As you can imagine, I get a lot of questions about areas related to having a stroke such as what was it like, how long is recovery, how is daily life, what helps you and what should I know, etc.

So I thought it would make much more sense to make a page and some posts here that could help people who have experienced something similar or are friends and family or other loved ones who might be helping someone adjust to a change and lifestyle. Nothing here is about perfection. It is about doing life in a way that makes sense.

Talking about this event is not the purpose of my site, but I get so many questions and I have learned so many things I thought I would share them so there will be links below for things that you and others may feel are worth looking into

If I talk about any product or service, then you’re going to get my personal opinion. If it works, I show it. If it isn’t great, I say so.

These tools and routines helped me, my therapists, and my caregivers.
If they help you too, good. If not, at least you get ideas that might make life easier. If you have any suggestions, then I am wide open to including these if it will help you as well.
