I am hooked: Jott

For those of you who need to save things as reminders, but find yourself without paper or in a  car — use Jott. It’s really simple to use — you call a phone number, speak (up to 15 seconds), and the message is transcribed and e-mailed to you. The original audio file is sent, too.

Right now the service is free. I’m sure they’ll come out with a “for fee” service for longer messages.

You can also send messages to other people using Jott. Such as, “Honey, we need milk.”

Others have picked up on it, too:
SiliconBeat and Lifehacker
