An Example of How the Net Changes Business – Google Documents

In the past few weeks, I’ve been working on brief consulting services descriptions. When people ask what I do, I let them know. Occasionally, people would like to read about it.

In order to do this easily, I decided to use Google’s Documents system. It’s integrated with my GMail account and available online anywhere, anytime. The formatting is not perfect, but it works.

The Google system has a great feature: Publishing the file online for anyone to view and/or collaborate. This is something I’ve been able to do for years using Microsoft’s SharePoint system, but it’s not free.

Like I said, not pretty, but its effective for getting the material to prospective clients.
