Getting Ready for the Holidays — a sales tip

It’s probably a good idea for those of you who are out there in the sales world to start thinking about holiday presents for your clients. It’s never too early.

Some of you may never have sent anything, and some of you may send great gifts. I would encourage you to send something other than a stock letter. The reason that I make this blog post and all the other posts is to differentiate myself from other people who are out there providing business development services. I’m not going to send stock Christmas cards to all of the people I work with, and I would encourage you to think about doing the same. You can go out and buy 300 of the things and be just like ten thousand other non-memorable companies.

I would encourage you to buy a different type of card or send something other than a card. Do something that’s interesting and that has lasting impact to let the client know that you really do care about the business, and you care enough to do something different for them.

Enjoy shopping for the holidays early.
